CAT 3116 Powaaaah: 1996 Stewart and Stevenson LMTV M1093 6X6

I was going to try and post a bunch of classic cheap junk like there wasn't an impending coronapocalypse and like I'm not forced to stay at home with my wife and kids (maybe I can fake a fever to leave for a few hours...hmmm)...but screw it -- I'm just gonna turn up Steve Earle's Copperhead Road on the radio and post vehicles that'll survive the zombie apocalypse.  This next vehicle features 6-wheel drive and a turbocharged CAT inline-6 (I checked the application for that 1R-1807 oil filter in the pic and it came up 3306 or C7...but the pic of the engine in the vehicle shows an oil filter on the opposite side, so this should be a 3116 which would be a 6.6 liter straight-6 that makes 290 horsepower in the military spec.  Anyway, those old CATs are pretty darn rugged and bulletproof as long as you keep them serviced.  Find this 1996 Stewart and Stevenson LMTV M1093 6X6 here on eBay offered for $12,500 buy-it-now in Stratford, CT with a few hours to go.

Got Your Goat: 1971 CONDEC Gama Goat

I have to say I have never heard of the Vietnam era Gama Goat nor have I ever seen one in any of the Vietnam documentaries on Cable.  But after finding this one on my local CL, I have to say it looks like the ticket for after the Zombie Apocalypse (although I'm not sure if zombies can refine diesel).  Find this 1971 CONDEC Gama Goat for sale in Granite Falls, WA for $16,500 via craigslist.
