
Porsche fans around the world cry copious (and salty sweet) tears whenever someone takes an aircooled 911/912/914 and shoehorns a Chevy V8 under the hood, but what about the unloved Porsches from the era of the front-engine watercooled P-car? Yeah, nobody sheds a tear when those go under the knife...whatever, I love stupid engine swaps no matter. Find this 1987 Porsche 944S offered for $5500 in Helena, MT via craigslist. The car is in acceptable condition for its age. 8/ 10 interior 8/10 exterior. If you don't know how to handle with care it will put you in the side of a house. Loads of torque old school Chevy 350 with upgraded cam , new spark plugs 300 miles ago , belts and crank pully 500 miles. It's my daily driver. Has auto moon roof manual sun roof. Looking for cash or trades. Something more fuel efficient for college. Truck , car, diesel, what you got?

how long (time & miles) has that engine been in the car and how was the Chevy 350 shoehorned in? what about the accessories like power steering , AC, transmission, clutch, suspension changes due to weight distribution? How about getting it registered? George in Toronto
