Thursday Twister: No B-Post

Welcome back another edition of the Thursday Twister, DT's weekly quiz show where we discuss the stuff that nobody wants to talk about...not even us.   That doesn't really make sense, because I'll talk to anybody about anything, but that is probably a story better kept for a trained therapist.  Anyway, today we are looking for all the 4-door cars that are missing the B-pillar.




This funky R31 Skyline GT Passage sedan is an example, but I'm sure the readers can help create a HUGE list of pillarless hardtop sedans from any year/any market.

Standard contest rules are as follows: 

1. Only one car per comment (be sure to hit the refresh button on your browser before you post in case someone else has posted since you loaded the page).  Do not nest the replies, just reply to the main post -- if you reply to someone else's comment it should be in reference to his comment and not another submission.

2. The contest will end in on Sunday, Oct 4, 2015.

3. One submission per make/model.

4. Each car must be a production model.

5. No anonymous submissions -- pick a name with the Name/URL dropdown.

      I prefer the 1957's but 1955 was a sales record year for Buick and their 4 door hardtops in the Special, Century, Super and Roadmaster series played a big role in that success:

      Regarding the Nissan Model-70, I think the Phaeton bodystyle actually made its debut in 1938.

      I think they're looking for non-convertible tops as there are a ton of very early 4 door convertibles that would fit the bill otherwise.

      Tinman: yes they are looking for non-convertible vehicles... cause I could fill a terabyte's worth of pre-war cars that would fit the bill... apparently my sarcasm doesn't carry across the interspaces too well ! :-))
