The third generation Oldsmobile Cutlass rides on GM's A-body platform and reminds us of a long ago era when huge two-door coupes ruled the roads and everything was better with racing stripes. Find this 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible for sale in Sherman Oaks, CA for $14,500 via craigslist. Most of the photos are taken under a dark canopy of trees, but the paint looks nice.
Under hood lives a rebuilt Chevy 350 mated to a 3 speed automatic transmission.
The black electric top works and interior looks nice.
The asking price is a bit on the high side so we would expect everything to work, but for a weekend cruiser it looks like a good bet.

For those interested in today's post, its probably a good idea to watch this other Ebay auction as it closes today. It will give a good comparison for price.

I like, except the velor seating area which makes it hard to get your squeeze to slide over next to you so you can smell her cheap perfume or aftershave, whichever the case may be.
ReplyDeleteNot to be overly picky or anything, but I believe that is the correct Oldsmobile 350 engine, not a Chevy.
ReplyDeleteYes Erik, thats the correct Olds 350 in it.
