DT Breaking News: Project Car

We found a particularly nice project car that we were going to post and share with our readers and we liked it so much that we drove down to the sellers house to take a closer look and...well...bought the car!  The writers of this blog have many 'project-cars' that we wrench on a regular basis (actually - they are our horrible hooptie-rustic daily drivers) but we've decided that this purchase will be a dedicated DT project car.

We will solicit feedback & advice from readers and detail the progress with a camera and stopwatch.  More details later as we write up the first post - but let us see if any readers can guess what we purchased?!  Guess away in the comments below - the winner will get a free DT T-shirt.. Winner will be determined by the first person to correctly guess make/model or by the closest proximity.

    Uh, wait a minute...doesn't the term "project car" pretty much preclude it, by definition, from being "particularly nice" or "almost immaculate"?

    Rest assured this will be enough of a project - in terms of body & paint we would use the terms "particularly nice" but in other areas it needs plenty of attention!

      Personal satisfaction isn't enough? We are still counting the dangling chads over here at DT HQ and will make a decision soon...it is somewhat of a moot point because we don't have the t-shirts in hand yet...
