That Benz is Poison: 1989 Mercedes 300CE W124

by  Cory -- If this pillar less Mercedes coupe could talk, oh the stories it could tell.  Today’s car was alleged to be owned by Michael Bivins of 1990’s new jack swing band Bell Biv DeVoe.  It seems plausible given the “tri-amped” Beverly Hills audio set up left in the trunk of the car and MLB (Michael Lamont Bivins) initials on the door. The 1989 Mercedes-Benz 300CE is for sale in Allentown, PA for $1500.

E-Class Coupe? 1989 Mercedes-Benz 300CE C124

The W124 Mercedes-Benz chassis was the first Benz given the official E-Class nomenclature and one of the bulletproof Benzes that came from Stuttgart during the 80s/90s.  It is a chassis that is typically associated with the 4-door sedan (like the fire-breathing 500E Hammer) but they sold a few C124 designated coupes.  Find this 1989 Mercedes-Benz 300CE C124 here on eBay bidding for $7,600 with less than one hour to go, located in Portland, OR.

5k: W124 Ragtop: 1993 Mercedes-Benz 300CE Cabriolet

I've had a few people ask me recently for recommendations for a good late model 4-seat convertible in the $5k range, and I typically point them toward BMW's 3-series, any modern Saab (haha, suckers!!), Volvo C70, maybe even the Toyota Solara if they hate driving...but I've never given a recommendation for a Mercedes W124...until now.  Find this 1993 Mercedes-Benz 300CE Convertible offered for$5,900 in San Juan Capistrano via craigslist.  Tip from FuelTruck.
