In 2007 Audi released the first generation (B8.5) of their A5/S5 sports coupe, which was a return to Audi's legacy of sporty compact executive coupes that ended in 1996 with the B3/B4 Audi 80 coupe. The A5 was essentially a 2-door coupe version of the A4, and natuarlly the S5 was the souped up V8 version of the same car...which means it comes will all the pluses (speed, comfort, luxury) and minuses (electric gremlins, coil packs, understeer, expensive repairs) of all 2000 era Audi sport sedans...err, coupes. Anyway, most were probably sold with a slushbox, but this next car is equipped with a 6-speed manual. Find this 2008 Audi S5 offered for $12000 in Chandler, AZ via craigslist. So does the new owner get the wheels with or without the plasti-dip? In ‘07 it came down to either one of these or the e92 335i. In the end, that N54 was the difference.
