Big blocks stuck inside of small cars are the stuff of automotive legend. We can't forget, however, that these same engines could be found in slightly porkier models, as well. And while the lightweight coupes and ponies we call muscle cars were fast, most can be bested by your neighbor's Maxima in every performance measure. With no possibility of going around corners quickly, you can enjoy an interior from the Big & Tall department. With all side windows and their trim rolled into the doors and body, you will have a nice, airy breezeway around your head. These wide open spaces will make you want to turn around and drive back through tunnels just to hear the resonating exhaust from the 428 at wide-open throttle. For all this fun, $12K is starting to look like a bargain.
It should be parked next to a current compact car for the uninitiated. This is a titanic car.

As a driver of a same age Mopar B-Body, which was the mid-size of their line-up, I can attest that cars of this vintage are not small. However, they certainly are comfortable and roomy for rolling down fairly straight roads with several of your closest pals.
